Who We Are
I am Peter V an I used to be fat just like you – in fact I felt like I was going to be fat forever! At age of 40 I was feeling like there is no solution to my obesity. I tried dieting, exercising, drugs, books and found that none of them help me lost weight. I was lost – I didn’t know what to do. It took a long time observing and analyzing the behavior of the skinny ones in order to realize that losing weight isn’t just about dieting or exercising – it’s about replacing your bad eating habits with better ones. Now, the problem was I knew what I had to do but I couldn’t motivate myself to actually do it.
Imagine you have a $10 million house but you know the house hasn’t been built to be self-sustainable, it’s not energy efficient and on top of that it’s dark inside – pretty much like being fat forever (poorly designed habits leading to unsustainable life in the long run).
You are being offered to move to a greener, energy efficient house with lots of light (leaner, less consumption oriented body). You immediately see two benefits short term your house will be efficient (less money in heating/cooling) and long term it’s self-sustainable, in other words it’s all you want from a house. Sounds good, isn’t it? But when you were taken to an open house – what you see is a shack – not a cozy villa! Will you trade your cozy nest for a shack? Off course you won’t! Although there are long term benefits from losing weight it’s waaaaay too comfortable in your sugar-pumped fat forever lifestyle – than making food sacrifices today for unknown benefits tomorrow – isn’t it?
I used to be like you! I used to think that you should enjoy every possible meal, every single day as much as you can stuff into my mouth. Well… I must admit it was amazingly delicious and entertaining, but as I grew older I started to feel worse and worse every year. The end of the eat and drink as much as you can party started to influence my health and had enormous psychological effect on my life.
